Refunds and withdrawal

How the 14-day right works, and when it doesn't

Last updated: April 11, 2026

Short version

We want you to get what you paid for. If something is wrong with a download, write to pleroma@stefansalkimia.com and we will fix it. For anything else, read on.

Digital downloads — Grimoire, Protocols, Bundle

At the pre-checkout step you see a checkbox: "I want the download to start immediately and I understand this means I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal." You have to tick it to proceed.

  • If you tick the box and complete the purchase, you are asking us to deliver the PDF immediately and you are acknowledging that once the download starts, you lose the 14-day withdrawal right under Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This is the trade the law explicitly allows for digital content.
  • If the file is defective, corrupt, the wrong language, or not what the product page described, your statutory warranty rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770 still apply. Write to us and we will replace or refund.

Inner Circle subscription

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in every Inner Circle email and at /inner-circle/manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for unused time within a billing period. If we accidentally charge you a renewal after you've cancelled, that's our mistake and we refund it in full — email us.

How refunds are issued

Always back to the original payment method, via Stripe. They usually land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

What we cannot do

  • Refund you after you have waived the 14-day right and the content was delivered as described, unless there is a genuine defect.
  • Refund your bank's currency-conversion fee — that's their margin, not ours.

Complaints

If you think a refund decision is wrong, escalate to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (Комисия за защита на потребителите, kzp.bg) or the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
